About
The next annual Benchmarks Workshops of the Working Party on Scientific Issues and Uncertainty Analysis of Reactor Systems (WPRS) will be hosted by Nuclear at McMaster in collaboration with Conexus Nuclear Inc., at McMaster University in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada.
Two additional events will be co-located with the Workshops:

The in-person part of the fourth edition of the NEA International School on Simulation of Nuclear Reactor Systems (SINUS).

The CTF User Group Meeting and CTF Training, organised by North Carolina State University.

Registration Instructions
Participants must register to attend the event through the online portal.
Registrants will be prompted to create an account with McMaster’s Conference and Events Services (CES), which can be used to manage payment of hosting fee, accommodation room fee (on-campus rooms only), and banquet tickets.
Participants staying in Downtown Hamilton will be required to book and pay for rooms in the reserved conference block on the hotel website directly, but will still need to register and pay hosting fees through the McMaster CES portal.

Registration Cancellation
Any participant wishing to cancel their registration must reach out to nucevent@mcmaster.ca to request cancellation. If the hosting fee has already been paid for through the online portal, a refund will be processed with Conference & Events Services.
Proof of Payment
Participants will receive a prompt after payment to screenshot the page for your records as a receipt.
Any participant looking for a more detailed statement of balance should reach out to Conference & Events Services at reserve@mcmaster.ca for an individualized report including subtotal, taxes, total, and HST number. This report will include hosting fees as well as on-campus accommodation booking.
Participants staying in Downtown Hamilton will need to contact the hotel directly for proof of payment for their rooms.
It may take up to 3 business days to receive an statement of balance from CES.
Online Attendance Registration
In-person registration is strongly encouraged and recommended for the most fulsome participation in this workshop.
For participants who are not able to attend in-person, this workshop will include an online participation option. Participants interested in attending online should reach out to nucevent@mcmaster.ca to request online attendance registration. Please provide the following information:
- Full name and institutional email address (no personal emails)
- Professional title and institutional affiliation
- Country of residence
- Topic areas of interest/sessions intending to join online

Agenda
Agenda Overview
The workshop will open on Monday, May 11th, 2026, in the morning, and conclude on Friday, May 15th, 2026, around lunch. It will feature three parallel tracks with concurrent meetings and workshops.

Accommodation
Accommodation for the workshop is available on campus as well as in nearby Downtown Hamilton
A variety of rooms are available on McMaster University campus in Les Prince Hall and the Peter George Centre for Living and Learning. On-campus rooms can be booked through the same portal used for paying hosting fees.
Downtown Hamilton rooms are available at the Homewood Suites by Hilton on Bay St. South, Hamilon, ON – a short ride to campus by taxi or transit. Suites must be booked through the hotel website directly.
Details for each accommodation location including check-in/check-out, amenities, on-site support contact information, etc., will be shared with registrants directly after successful booking and payment.
Accommodation costs are separate from hosting fees and may be paid at a later time. However quantities of each room type at each location are limited and participants are encouraged to register early to secure their preferred room type.
Each accommodation type has a booking deadline; the accommodation booking will close on this date and further bookings will not be possible.
Parking costs are not included in the booking fee, and all prices will have HST (13% tax) added at checkout.

- Requests received within 48 hours of arrival may incur additional charges.

Transportation to Campus – From Homewood Suites
Participants staying in Downtown Hamilton at the Homewood Suites can easily reach campus by taxi (10 minute drive) or public transportation (20-25 minute ride).
By taxi, participants should set their destination as McMaster University Student Centre and allow an extra 5 minutes of walking time on campus.
By public transit, participants are advised to allow at least 20 minutes of extra time, including waiting for the bus and walking from the campus bus stop to the conference buildings.
